IAN ZWICK

Ian Zwick is a Chicago based artist and drag performer. Ian focuses on themes of trans bodies, taking up space, and consumption. Thinking about the consumption of the unnatural, Ian confronts the viewer with off putting images in technicolor. Working with fibers, painting, sculpture, makeup, and more Ian is able to convey complex ideas about identity and the world around us. Ian’s work invites the viewer to consider disgust and “ugliness” in a new light.
