CHRISTIAN BRAUN

I am an artist who focuses mainly on drawing in all mediums, from charcoal to colored pencil. With that, I enjoy drawing objects and people and work to make my art as realistic as possible. Aside from drawing, I also have a background with painting in oil, acrylic, and watercolor. I think of myself as a logic based artist and I find this way of thinking to guide me the most when I make art. I find art makes most sense to me when I draw what is there and not what I think is there. When I make art, I enjoy getting lost in perfecting the details, and it becomes almost meditative. Besides art making, I am an art history major and am exploring how to merge my academic background with my art making.
